Person Identification Based on Locomotion

This paper deals with study of human movement and using that in identification. In the first part of my work are explained characteristics of human movement and factors which take effect on these characteristics. Practical part is dealing with design of program which is solving mentioned problems. The input of program is created by video sequence with lateral movement of human. The program is finding coordinates of lower limbs joints. From this coordinates are created locomotion characteristics used for human identification. Matching of time behaviors is based on correlation.
Design and implementation of control program for mobile robot platform Turtlebot3 Burger

The aim of the bachelor thesis is the design and implementation of a control program for the mobile robotic platform TurtleBot3 Burger. The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis defines the issue of mobile robotics, with a closer look at the various possibilities of locomotion, including examples from industrial practice. The TurtleBot3 mobile robot series belongs to the robotic platforms distributed by ROBOTIS, where their main feature is compatibility with the Robotic Operating System (ROS). The core of this system is licensed under the BSD, which guarantees open source code. The integration of ROS with the TurtleBot3 Burger model provides freely accessible robust libraries, which form the basis for understanding the control of a differentially controlled robot through ROS. In the practical part, the assembly and configuration of the robotic kit TurtleBot3 Burger is performed, including the introduction of key functionalities of this mobile platform, and the design of your own solution. The conclusion contains the justification of the mentioned proposal and the output after its implementation on a real robot.
Running in the context of developmental kinesiology

Title: Running in the context of developmental kinesiology Objective: The objective of this diploma thesis was to describe the running gait in the context of human developmental ontogenesis. From information sources working with the topic of developmental kinesiology, a comprehensive text was prepared on the influence of establishing posture on the subsequent development of locomotion patterns of walking and running. Methods: The compilation method was used in this work. Relevant peer-reviewed articles were drawn upon to identify current information on running kinesiology for subsequent interdisciplinary comparison of approaches to the definition and description of the running stride cycle. Results: In the thesis, it was repeatedly emphasized that reaching the float phase in a running gait is a genetically conditioned in a person's life. The thesis that the central control of postural-locomotor function is already engaged in the first year of life thanks to genetically encoded programs. In parallel with how the musculoskeletal system strengthens during the first year of life with the aim of overcoming gravity and achieving bipedality, the strength of functional control at the level of the CNS. The relationship between body dimensions and locomotion in human and other hominins

We work with estimates of body weights and dimensions of hominins derived from fossil finds. The reliability of the estimate is important for calculations related to thermoregulation and energetics of the individual. The termoregulation of individual is influenced by number of factors including breathing type, sweating ability, body hair, type of locomotion, size of limbs to size of body ratio. Hair loss allows for greater heat loss. The ability to sweat and thermoregulate in hominins is more important for running than for walking. Heat loss is influenced by the trunk breath and the distal limb element lenght. Body shape in the current human population conforms to Allen's rule. Populations living closer to the equator show smaller bi-iliac width and longer limbs relative to body size. This trend can be observed in hominins. The cost of locomotion, the cost needed to travel a given distance in a given time, is affected by the lower limb lenght. Longer lower limbs reduce this cost, they allow to cover the distance using fewer steps. Each step is more costly because more muscle power is needed to move the longer limb. Effect of ketamine on light-induced changes in the circadian system

The circadian system is controlled by the suprachiasmatic nuclei of the hypothalamus (SCN) and ensures optimal timing of physiological processes. Synchronization of this system with external light conditions is based on the activation of NMDA receptors during light exposure in the subjective night. Ketamine is a non-competitive antagonist of NMDA receptors used as a safe anesthetic, whose subanesthetic doses act as an antidepressant with a rapid onset of action, and increase proliferation in some parts of the brain. There are hypotheses about the possible effect of subanesthetic doses of ketamine on the circadian system, altough this effect has not yet been tested. This work aims to investigate the effect of a single subanesthetic dose of ketamine on the circadian system of the rat, especially on light-induced changes in locomotor activity and light-induced markers in the SCN and dentate gyrus, which represents one of the strongly proliferative areas of the brain. Our results show that ketamine decreases light pulse-induced c-FOS protein expression in the SCN at the onset of the subjective night, but increases this expression in the dentate gyrus under the same conditions. Children's approach to P.E. and their motivation

This diploma thesis is focused on the kid's approach to the physical education and their motivation. The aim of the thesis is to determine the relation elementary school children have to P.E., whether they enjoy it or not and what motivates them. In the theoretical part I am focusing on defining the motivation, position of P.E. in the Educational Framework and its evaluation. My goal in the practical part was to determine the children's relation to P.E. if it belongs among their favourite subjects and what would motivate them to improve their relation to P.E. The survey was conducted through quantitative online questionnaire method that was followed by several in depth interviews. Respondent are pupils from 2nd to 5th year of chosen grammar schools. Locomotor expression of poems with pre-school children

The object of my disertation is connection poetry and locomotion with pre-school children. The goal of my research is realize, which poems and motions are prefered by children and what is the reason of their choose. The methods in my dissertation are interview, experiment and observation. All of these methods detect relation of children to poetry and locomotion. I have discovered the interesting style of work with pre-school children. The children have appreciated various language and form resources. I have discovered, that children love particularly dynamical and simple activities, which enable maximum discharge of energy. I will trying to choose the poetry and locomotion, which is the nearest for pre- school age.I hope, that my discovered will be interesting inspiration for teacher in kindergarten.
